Our clients purchased this large alpine farm in the beautiful ski resort of Habère-Poche to use as a family holiday home, and approached us to undertake the re-design and restoration of this property.

In 2016-17 we renovated part of the ground floor of the property to create a modern, airy 2 bedroom apartment. We were then re-appointed to re-design and undertake the renovation of the large ground floor “atelier” and the huge double height barn above. This includes structural and roofing work as well as a complete fit-out of the barn to create a 4 bedroom home. We will be teaming traditional old-wood carpentry with contemporary architectural features such as a glass verrière in the double-height atrium and a suspended glass-framed mezzanine study. At over 600m2 this is a significant build which enables us to showcase technical expertise with alpine design, demonstrating our signature fusion of traditional alpine design with a modern twist.
